Pitaya fruits or commonly known as dragon fruits are highly concentrated with vitamin c, minerals and boasts of high fibre content. Basically, phytoalbumins in a dragon fruits are vital and known world over for the anti-oxidants they possess which usually help in the prevention of the formation of free radicals that cause cancer. Its high fibre and low calorie characteristics make them the favourite among healthy eaters. Due to its vital nutrients, i was so tempted to make a dragon fruit cheesecake.
