I have to admit Chocolate Cheesecake is absolute favorite cake for most of us. Like my earlier Dark Chocolate Cheesecake was the most sellable cake. The outlook of this cake is similar like Dark Chocolate Cheesecake but the taste and texture is different......

This is another type of cookies i baked yesterday. A well loved Cashew Nut Cookies.I like the buttery, crunchy and nutty flavour, once you have tasted one, you cannot resist having more !!! it is so sinfully delicious.....

Lovely Lovely Jelly Cake~ ~10 inch (爱心燕菜蛋糕)

While doing this cake yesterday, i was having so much fun playing with the colouring and making LOVE shapes. It recall me back to teenage time, almost every weekend i will create different flavour and different type of  jelly. During that time i don't know about baking and i only know about making jelly !! he he.... This jelly sponge cake is made together with thick coconut milk so you can taste the richness of the cake...yummy

These cakes was done by four of us during the SB class under supervision of sifu Suzana....and the yellow roses cake is belong to me .....proud of myself but the roses still "many" rooms for improvement....

"Steam Buttercream" something very new and I've never heard about it. Due to curiosity, so now I'm intrigued. Last Saturday i attended a class to see what the hype was all about. This class was conducted by sifu Suzana, formerly she is my super senior staff nurse . I still remembered 10 yrs ago she supervised me the dressing technique and now she taught me about new technique of frosting....aha something like continuous learning link from her.
Appreciate the effort she rendered to me, finally i able to do the pretty roses at the end of the lesson.This new technique of frosting from Indonesia, it is look like fondant...smooth or in Indonesia language "mulus" and it taste great too, much better than normal butter cream. This type of cakes quite popular among the Malay community, especially they like to order for hantaran or wedding ceremony.
I really enjoyed the lesson and will never never forget about how i get lost in the paddy field upon coming out from Suzana's house..thank you so much to one of the Malay young handsome guy helping me out from the  horrible dark place. OMG ! ! look at the clock 2035hrs at night !!!! phew !!. You can imaging that at a strange place and you alone inside the car ,struggling for the way out ......kesiannya aku norrrrrr........

CNY Biscuit -Green Pea Cookies ~ (青豆饼干)






Chinese New Year is coming very soon. Ya ! another two more months only......Green Pea Cookies seem like the top new comer in the list of popular biscuits in Penang nowadays !! For the past few years, i always bought all these CNY cookies from the Lip Sin morning market.
For this coming Spring Festival (春节) , i decided to bake my own cookies. Few days ago, i tried to bake this famous green pea cookies. It tasted jus like many people says " melts in our mouth and Crisy after taste " Yummy...I also like the salty sweetness of the cookies, further more the unique green colour is came from the green pea itself. As people are more alert about own health, this type of healthy foods really suite to everyone......
