"Xi Pan" in Hakka called Hee Pan, a very traditional and old fashion type of kuih. It is one of the Pusing Delight. I get to know this kuih when visiting my aunt in Pusing Panchor when small time.
I liked the pinkish and greenish colour of the kuih itself. Texture wise ~ soft and a bit chewy steamed rice bun. Best to serve while still fresh otherwise it will turn into a bit harden and dried the next day!
My hubby not appreciated this kind of kuih as he claimed inside no "inti ". LOL.......
